Here are the top 10 most Instagrammed islands in the world:
10. Mallorca, Spain
With over 10 million posts on Instagram, the Spanish island of Mallorca took the 10th spot on the list. The island is known for its beautiful beaches, catamaran cruises, cave excursions, and beach clubs.
9. Jamaica, Caribbean
When thinking of Jamaica, Bob Marley may come to mind. Other than being known for its Rastafarian culture, the island is famed for its luxury resorts and beaches, as well as its rum. The island has over 10 million hashtags on Instagram.
8. Cuba, Caribbean
Often referred to as being “stuck in time,” the island of Cuba ranks eighth place with 11 million hashtags. The island is known for its classic cars, vibrant cities, and beautiful beaches.
7. Sicily, Italy
Coming in at seventh place with over 12 million hashtags is Sicily. The Italian island features one of the highest active volcanoes in all of Europe, Mount Etna, as well as classic foods and incredible historical sites such as the Valley of Temples and the Capella Palatina.

Coming in with over 17 million Instagram posts is Flores. This lesser-known Indonesian island is home to Komodo National Park, named after its native Komodo dragons.
